Gin Martini

Is there a cocktail more iconic than the martini? Ernest Hemmingway once said of the drink: “I had never tasted anything so cool and clean. They made me feel civilised” and of course, it will forever be synonymous with James Bond (although you will have to search far and wide to find a bartender who recommends shaking a martini).

As with our signature G&T serve, we recommend a twist of pink grapefruit in the Portobello Road Gin Martini, which perfectly compliments the botanicals in our Capital Bracer.

Portobello Road Gin Martini

Serve in a Nick and Nora glass or a Martini glass

Ingredients

60 ml Gin

12.5 ml Dry Vermouth

Method

Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass over ice and then strain into a glass. Garnish with a small twist of pink grapefruit.
