Portobello Road Distillery x Brian May Red Special Gin is a truly distinctive collaboration between two British originals, bringing together Sir Brian May’s unmistakable creativity and Portobello Road Distillery’s passion for the spirit of London.

More than simply a name on a bottle, this is a gin Sir Brian has been intrinsic in creating from the ground up. Together, we crafted a recipe inspired by some of Brian’s favourite botanicals, including aromatic sage and vibrant calamansi orange, the latter proudly grown by Brian himself in his greenhouse at home.

Distilled in the heart of London, the result is a clean, dry and beautifully refreshing gin, combining classic juniper with warming liquorice root, aromatic sage and bright calamansi orange. Distinctive and elegant, with subtle complexity and a vibrant citrus finish. 

It is a gin with character, just like the man behind it.

And then there’s the sixpence...

For decades, Sir Brian May has used a sixpence as his signature guitar pick, making the humble coin an iconic part of his musical legacy. Having even released his own range of collectible Sir Brian May sixpences, it felt only right to bring that story to every bottle.

Every bottle comes with an exclusive Brian May sixpence to collect...a little piece of rock 'n' roll history that makes this bottle as memorable on the outside as the gin is on the inside.

Every bottle of Portobello Road Distillery x Brian May Gin will be sequentially numbered, making each one a unique piece of the collaboration. 

Sir Brian May will have 000001, safely tucked away in his own cabinet.

Portobello Road Distillery will keep 000002.
